The event organizers estimate that this year a new record may be set at the Nida airfield – more than 100 aircraft are expected to arrive. Last year, more than 80 gathered here.

“We strive for AERO NIDA to grow every year and offer more and more impressions, so even visitors coming to the event not for the first time will have something to be surprised by this year. We are very pleased with the growing interest of aviators – last year we welcomed more than 80 aircraft in Nida, and this year the number of those wishing to fly in continues to grow. We hope that on September 12th we will be able to welcome more than 100 aircraft at the Nida airfield,” says one of the event organizers, director of the Nida aeroclub Kristina Zaronskytė.
Acrobatics and unexpected duets in the Nida sky
One of the main highlights this year will be the aviation program. The acrobatic group ANBO, Polish acrobatic flying star Artur Kielak, and “Iron Wolf Aerobatics” pilot Igoris Lobanovas will take to the Nida sky.
The latter’s performance will combine two seemingly different elements – aviation and live music. Igoris Lobanovas’s acrobatic flight will be accompanied by live music from “Ten Walls” together with performer GØYA.
This year, the magazine ŽMONĖS will also have its unique highlight at AERO NIDA – a special two-aircraft performance in the Nida sky, performed by pilots Adomas Grabskis and Karolis Manelis.
There will be no shortage of adrenaline even very close to the ground. The “Skyhackers” team has prepared three performances for the audience: removing the wheel from an airplane, lifting a parachutist from a moving car and airplane, and a show with an airplane, motorcycle, and car.
The audience should also be interested in the “Bentley Continental GT S” race against a flying airplane. An unusual speed duel can be watched live on and above the Nida airfield runway.
The program also includes the Lithuanian Armed Forces helicopter AS365 N3+ “Dauphin,” the jet “Eclipse 500,” acrobatic and other types of aircraft. As the sun sets, the day program will continue with evening flights “Twilight.”
Music will sound not only in the sky
The aviation event will be complemented by a concert program. Ieva Dūdaitė PIANO will perform on the AERO NIDA stage together with DJ Mamania, and Vaidas Baumila with his band will hold the evening concert. The entire event will be hosted by Rolandas Mackevičius.
“Heximus” and HP – AERO NIDA patrons for the second year
For the second year, the event patrons “Heximus” together with HP are contributing to AERO NIDA.

The event has also gained a general partner
This year, the general partner GURTAM joined AERO NIDA. Thanks to them, visitors will see some of the brightest highlights of this year’s aviation program – special performances by the “Skyhackers” team prepared specifically for AERO NIDA 2026.
A special GURTAM lounge zone will also operate at the Nida airfield, located in one of the best visible spots of the event with a view of the runway. From there, visitors will be able to watch the aviation program performances.

From Formula 1 to hot air balloon flights
There will be plenty of activities on the ground on the day of the event. Visitors can enjoy sightseeing flights, trampolines, drone workshops for children, educational activities, gifts from the sky, and other entertainment for the whole family.
Longtime event sponsor “Rokiškio sūris” will invite visitors to “Rokiškio Grand” cheese tastings, where aged cheeses can be sampled.
For motorsport enthusiasts, “Red Bull” will bring a Formula 1 simulator to Nida, giving the opportunity to experience the racer’s experience firsthand.
Visitors will also be able to test their speed on a specially installed OHO! snack radar, and those wishing to see AERO NIDA from another perspective will be offered a flight in a “J&C Aero” hot air balloon, weather permitting.
For the second year, AERO NIDA also has its own coffee. VERO CAFE specially created “Sky Latte” for AERO NIDA 2026 – an aviation-inspired coffee that can be tasted in all VERO CAFE cafes until the event.
Various food and drink spots will operate on the event grounds, and lovers of sea flavors will be awaited by Austres.lt, offering fresh oysters during the event.
How to get to AERO NIDA?
Due to the limited space at the Nida airfield, visitor cars will not be allowed into the event area. On the day of the event, three shuttles will run from the Nida bus station to the airfield, and it will also be possible to arrive by bicycles and scooters.
