A new "Tamstos" season begins: there is something to look forward to even for those who have heard it all

“We are welcoming the new season for the 22nd time, and the feeling is like going to first grade! Although we have been active for a long time, every year still brings something new, unheard of and unexperienced,” says the “Tamsta” club team, assuring that the club awaits not only guests from abroad never seen before and new album presentations, but also the continuation of the most beautiful, many years lasting “Tamsta” traditions, according to the “Tamsta” press release.

Music lovers will again be invited to “NoJo Fest” – a festival that brings together different generations and musicians of various genres, and the extraordinary music celebration is conducted by Jonas Mekas’ friend, percussionist Dalius Naujokaitis-Naujo. Another year of “Tamsta” will not pass without the elixir of youth, which everyone wants to taste – it is the young bands competition “Garage,” which has become a launchpad for many music groups well recognized in Lithuania today.

Moreover, competitions will continue every month to see who manages to get a ticket to the club residents’ “Los Secretos de Pablo” concert. Take care in advance! Tickets to the hot Latin American music parties disappear as quickly as ice cubes in your refreshing drink glass.

One of the most anticipated events of the new season is the 40th anniversary concert of the band “Poliarizuoti stiklai.” Nowhere else but at “Tamsta” – it can’t be otherwise! After all, it was the guitarist of this iconic Lithuanian band, Arvydas Skernevičius, who founded “Tamsta” in 1992.

The funk band from the Netherlands Curtis Millen & The Drenthe Brothers will perform at “Tamsta,” as well as the Latvian pop-rock group “Sudden Lights.” Jazz and alternative music evenings will be held because “Tamsta” ensures every year that the club’s repertoire is balanced for every taste.

Before the season even starts, the most loyal “Tamsta” visitors have already rushed to buy tickets to exclusive club events. Two concerts of the band “Liūdni slibinai” are completely sold out, as well as the performance of the artist Free Fing. And on September 4, the packed “Tamsta” hall will welcome one of the most famous South African comedians Gilli Apter.
