Most often, such a “tired” appearance does not mean that the plant is sick or withering. It simply starts to mature seeds after the first flowering and devotes a lot of energy to this. By removing faded inflorescences and withered foliage, some plants can be encouraged to produce new shoots and bloom again until autumn.

The most important thing is not to delay. After stronger pruning, the plant should have at least 4–5 weeks of warmer weather to regrow before the first frosts.
