“We went through such a terrible night today. I had never seen so much blood at home. And not just at home. Anywhere at all. Thinking about the smell of blood still shakes me,” she said at the beginning, describing the shock she experienced.
It all started unexpectedly when Fausta and her daughter Pasaka returned home. The situation worsened right before their eyes, and the house instantly became a hospital ward where the famous woman tried to control the rising chaos.
“We came back with Pasaka in the evening and found the house vomited on. While I was cleaning one side, Oregon was vomiting on the other. At the same time, I was consulting with the doctor. There was something resembling blood appearing repeatedly, but considering all other circumstances, the doctor reassured me. Until Oregon started vomiting large amounts of blood. And I mean – incomprehensibly large amounts. Matas quit work and went back to take Oregon to emergency care, I put Pasaka to sleep and went to clean the house. It was worrying, and duty called to clean everything as best as possible because there was all sorts of mess, not just vomit. Even Pasaka’s toys were vomited on and wiped. It’s terrible that the puppy is unwell, but it’s also terrible at home. I cleaned and washed hoping Pasaka wouldn’t wake up, and that Matas would return with Oregon, not without him,” she shared.
While her husband Matas rushed to the veterinary clinic, the darkest scenarios swirled in Fausta’s mind. However, upon reaching the doctors, an unexpected turn occurred, and the worst diagnoses were not confirmed.
“Thank God we ruled out poisoning, which we were very afraid of. While cleaning, I went over the memory a million times. We also ruled out other terrible options. And the one who arrived at the hospital even recovered and seemed to miraculously get better. Of course, it’s not that simple. But both came home, we continue treatment at home, the diagnosis is far from as scary as it sounded and looked. It only cost a sleepless night and a few hundred. So, let’s say, luckily,” she rejoiced.

Even after learning that the pet’s life was no longer in danger, Fausta could not rest – the cleanliness of the home became a priority for the safety of the small child.
“I cleaned the house until dawn. We don’t live sterilely at all, but you can’t raise a child among filth and vomit. I washed everything a million times. Some toys were washed, others thrown away. Well, I’ll catch up on sleep later. Now the important thing is that everyone is alive and roughly healthy,” said F.M. Leščiauskaitė.
When asked by the news portal Žmonės.lt if it is already clear what happened to the dog, Fausta said she does not know the exact diagnosis, but there is no danger to life.
“More tests are still pending, now we are waiting for the medicine to stop working and we will see how everything goes further. But most likely just inflammation in the stomach, the worst diagnoses and options have been ruled out,” she commented to Žmonės.lt.
