33-year-old Dovilė Kilty – the first Lithuanian woman to jump further than 14 meters – is already at her sixth continental championship.

It is precisely the Šiauliai native living and training in the United Kingdom who has so far made it to the final once – in Munich 2022, and her highest place was eighth in Zurich 2014.

The career record of the ten-time Lithuanian champion D. Kilty is 14.29 m (2019), and this year her longest jump was in mid-May in Riyadh – 13.85 m.

Meanwhile, 29-year-old Diana Zagainova holds the Lithuanian record in this event – 14.43 m, set in 2019. Her best result this season – 13.90 m – happened in June in Birštonas.

At the European Championships, she has jumped once so far – in Rome 2024, where she placed 18th.
The women’s triple jump qualification starts at 21:55.

In the qualification, triple jumpers will have 3 attempts each. A place in the final will be guaranteed by a jump of 14.15 m or a place among the top twelve (out of 29 participants).
The women’s triple jump final will take place on Thursday at 21:40 (Lithuanian time).
