“One of the brightest new generation Greek coaches, G. Dedas, gained significant experience in the early years of his coaching career. He also has a great understanding of the club’s philosophy and history, having worn PAOK jerseys for five years in the past. His joining the team brings experience, strength, and a deep understanding of the club environment,” the club statement reads.

Last season, G. Dedas was at the helm of Ostend’s „Filou“ as head coach but was dismissed in early March.
G. Dedas worked at Vilnius „Rytas“ from 2020 to 2025. Initially, he assisted Donaldas Kairys, and later Giedrius Žibėnas. It was with the latter that he won two LKL championship titles.
As a player, the Greek represented PAOK in 2010–2011 and 2012–2016.
Another face well known to „Rytas“ fans will play at PAOK next season. Marcus Foster has joined A. Trinchieri’s squad.
