VDU Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Vytautas Lukočius, is preparing a special program for this evening. The concert “Bridgerton Ball Magic” will feature well-known contemporary music pieces. Songs by Ariana Grande, Sting, Billie Eilish, Lady Gaga, Madonna, and other famous artists will be transformed into refined string orchestra interpretations.
For the Great Summer Ball, the Pakruojis Manor palace park will be specially decorated with thousands of flower blossoms. Guests will be welcomed with a grand reception, carriage and vintage car rides, intriguing gossip, the peculiarities of fan and flower language, a fire and light show, and dancing until midnight surrounded by flowers.
Guests of the ball will have a unique opportunity to visit the attic of the “Cabinet de Secret” palace, which guards the spicy secrets of the aristocracy. Rumor has it that many want to tell their friends about the Japanese erotic art “Shunga” collection and unique exhibits here, but not everyone dares.
The organizers of the event taking place on the Saturday of Žolinės are prepared for this summer’s weather peculiarities. Although the festive evening is planned outdoors, if the weather is stormy, the program will be moved to the manor’s ballroom.
