Rasa Juodkienė stated that the majority of the electricity supply restoration work is expected to be completed on Friday and Saturday, with only isolated disruptions remaining on Sunday.
“We have to do the maximum by tomorrow (Saturday – BNS). Today and tomorrow are still left, then only isolated (disruptions – BNS) will remain,” said R. Juodkienė.
She could not say exactly how many users might still be without electricity on Sunday.
As BNS wrote, ESO will compensate residents for losses if the electricity supply restoration takes longer than 72 hours, and will also additionally compensate direct storm damages to both business and private customers.
