“The second priority is dialogue between the military and the Ministry of Defense, solving the problems of the conscription centers, and closing the airspace. For this, I will also talk today with our military leadership and the Ukrainian defense minister. I will do all this before the faction meetings,” the president said.
V. Zelensky will also listen to S. Koretsky’s proposals regarding ministers in the new government.
Who could take Fedorov’s place
Earlier, several interlocutors of the “New Voice” portal from M. Fedorov’s team said that there is no clarity within the team whether their leader will enter the new government.

The LB.ua portal, citing its sources close to the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, reported that the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ihor Klymenka, could become the defense minister in the new government.
As previously reported by the “Ukrainska Pravda” portal, V. Zelensky asked M. Fedorov if he would be ready to lead the government, but the latter refused. According to the portal’s sources, this decision by M. Fedorov was due to the fact that he came to the Ministry of Defense only a few months ago and has just begun to implement his vision of ministry reform.
