Official data can help understand why: in the first four months of 2026, the number of tourists in Spain increased by 3.4%, and the country expects a 7.1% increase in arriving international flight passengers this June compared to last year, according to the Ministry of Tourism.

According to a press release issued by the Spanish Ministry of Tourism, passenger numbers in Italy and France are also expected to increase by 12% in June compared to the same period in 2025.
