As reported by the portal, the average wages paid by wholesale companies in the top 7 positions from January to July were higher than 10,000 EUR. Some of them have a small workforce, with 6, 9, or 15 employees, but there are also companies with teams of 137, 74, and 46 employees.

The highest average salary was noted at the Lithuanian branch of “Huawei Technologies.” Eleven company employees earned an average of 11,914 euros before taxes from January to July. This figure increased by 58.5% over the year.
In second place was “CM Kaunas,” whose employees also had an average salary of about 11.9 thousand euros. Third was “Skovs Korn Baltic,” where the average salary was 11,846 euros, reports “Verslo žinios.”
Pharmaceutical sector companies also ranked among the top positions. “AbbVie” and “Eli Lilly Lietuva” paid their employees an average of about 10.5 thousand euros per month, respectively. Among the top ten highest-paying wholesalers were also “Merck Sharp & Dohme,” “Medison Pharma Lithuania,” and “Roche Lietuva.”
The company with the most employees among the ranking leaders is “Philip Morris Baltic.” At the beginning of September, it employed 137 people, and their average salary from January to July was about 10.45 thousand euros before taxes.
Meanwhile, salaries did not increase in all the highest-paying companies. At the Lithuanian branch of “Samsung Electronics,” the average salary decreased by 19.1% over the year – down to 9,570 euros.
According to the portal, an even greater decline was recorded in the case of the Latvian company “Recipe Plus” – its employees’ average salary decreased by a third and was about 8,990 euros.
For the first time this year, the Lithuanian branch of “Tarkett Polska” entered the top twenty highest-paying wholesalers. Four of its employees were paid an average of about 9,350 euros per month from January to July.
