The mother was traveling alone with her four-year-old daughter; both were sleeping when an alleged assault occurred during the Flydubai flight. The 33-year-old Beaut from Thailand was returning home after a trip to the Italian city of Milan and was flying with her daughter on a connecting flight from Dubai to Bangkok International Airport. The woman recounts that upon waking next to her daughter during the flight, she saw a man who allegedly performed a sexual act on her, reports the Mirror.
The woman had taken sleeping pills while her four-year-old daughter dozed on her lap during the six-hour flight. However, she experienced horror when she woke up on August 3 and saw a passenger groping her buttocks while simultaneously touching his genitals. She claims her tights were wet, and she found evidence of the harassment on the upper part of her right thigh.
When the harasser realized she was awake, he suddenly withdrew his hand, covered it with a jacket, and pretended to be fixing the entertainment system screen in front of her seat, all the while glancing at her. Not wanting to cause panic, the mother waited until the plane landed in Bangkok before reporting the incident to the cabin crew and contacting the police.
She said: “I didn’t understand everything the flight attendant said to the man because they were speaking Arabic, but she asked him if he did what I reported.” She added: “At first, he denied it, but eventually admitted what happened.”
She then revealed that the harassing man caused a scene: he cried, knelt before her, and begged for forgiveness. “He kept repeating that he was sorry and wouldn’t do it again,” she said. However, the woman stated that the flight attendant did not accept such an apology and told the man that the situation was serious and that the police needed to be involved. It is known that the man was traveling with a tourist group whose members tried to intervene and begged forgiveness on his behalf. The flight attendant told those not involved to leave, as this was a police matter.

The 33-year-old woman said the flight attendant immediately removed her child from the epicenter of the situation: “The captain took my daughter away so she wouldn’t see what was happening.”
Eventually, tourist police and immigration officers boarded the plane to escort him off and take him to the police station. Lieutenant Colonel Chamnanyut Konkong of the Don Mueang district police station said officers will try to organize a reconciliation procedure between both parties. “The suspect is banned from entering Thailand. The complainant is scheduled to be interviewed this morning,” said C. Konkong. “He has not yet been questioned.” No charges have been filed so far.
The woman revealed she decided to speak publicly about what happened to draw attention to the risks faced by women traveling alone.
“During long flights, passengers often sleep, and women traveling alone can be vulnerable,” she said. “This happened even though I was traveling with my child. I can’t even imagine what could happen to a woman traveling alone who is afraid to speak up. I want other women to know—they don’t need to feel ashamed. If something seems wrong, they should report it and ask for help.
The Flydubai representative, when asked about this situation by the Daily Mail, refused to comment and stated that the company does not disclose information about passengers or details related to ongoing investigations. “The safety of our passengers and crew is our highest priority,” said the representative.
