British travelers to the Canary Islands are advised to be extremely cautious, as the Spanish weather agency has warned that dangerous conditions for fires have developed in some popular holiday destinations.
The fire danger has reached a “very high” or “extreme” level.
The Spanish state meteorological agency AEMET announced on Wednesday a warning that in most of the Spanish mainland territory the fire danger has reached a “very high” or “extreme” level. People are urged to be careful as the current weather conditions significantly increase the risk of forest fires.
