Commission press representative Indrė Ramanavičienė told BNS that she sent an inquiry to “Nemuno aušra” a week ago asking whether it actually received services from L. Matjošaitytė, whether they were paid for, or if debt obligations were accounted for.

In August, the news portal “Delfi” reported that before returning to work as a VRK member last year, L. Matjošaitytė consulted “Nemuno aušra” regarding the membership fee and helped prepare the party’s response to the commission.

“(In the inquiry – BNS) clarification was sought regarding the details mentioned in the publication, that is whether Laura Matjošaitytė helped prepare the political party’s response to the Central Electoral Commission. The party was also asked to provide other significant circumstances,” said I. Ramanavičienė.
