Additional free buses after evening concerts
On September 11 and 12, after the main evening concerts, additional buses will depart from the city center towards main directions. Travel on these routes will be free of charge.
After the evening concert on Friday, September 11:
From Vilniaus St. stop “Savivaldybė”:
• 00:20 – Route 3 to Aguonų St.;
• 00:20 – Route 6 to Pajuostės Ave.;
• 00:22 – Route 15 usual route to Pinava.
From J. Basanavičius St. stop “Ukmergės St.”:
• 00:20 – Route 3 to Savitiškio St.;
• 00:22 – Route 10 to Savitiškio St.
After the evening concert on Saturday, September 12:
From Vilniaus St. stop “Savivaldybė”:
• 00:35 – Route 3 to Aguonų St.;
• 00:35 – Route 6 to Pajuostės Ave.;
• 00:37 – Route 15 to Pinava.
From J. Basanavičius St. stop “Ukmergės St.”:
• 00:35 – Route 3 to Savitiškio St.;
• 00:37 – Route 10 to Savitiškio St.
Temporary bus route changes from September 11 to 13
Due to traffic restrictions in the city center from September 11 to 13, some bus routes will operate on altered routes.
On September 11, the route of bus 1E will change. The bus will go to the stop “Konsultacijų poliklinika” via F. Vaitkus, Klaipėda, Nemunas, Parko, Tulpių St., Taikos Ave., Respublikos, Stotis and A. Jakšto St. The bus will return to Kniaudiškių St. via A. Jakšto, Smėlynė, J. Basanavičius, Vilniaus, Klaipėda and F. Vaitkus St.
From September 11 to 13, routes 4, 6, 6A, and 16 will have route changes.
Route 4 to Vaivadus will go via Smėlynė St., and return to Molainiai via the same altered route.
Routes 6 and 6A: on the long route to J. Janonis, Pažalvaičių St., buses will go via Smėlynė, Marijonų and Pušaloto St., and return to Pajuostis and Dembava via the same altered route. On the short route to the railway station, buses will go via Smėlynė, Marijonų, Pušaloto and S. Kerbedžio St., and return to Pajuostis and Dembava via the same altered route.
Route 16 buses from Molainiai St. will operate via Klaipėda, Nemunas, Pušaloto, Marijonų, Smėlynė, J. Basanavičius and Ramygala St., and return to Pažagienia via the same altered route.
Public transport will be temporarily suspended during the parade
On September 12, from 5 PM to 7 PM, during the city birthday parade, all public transport routes will be temporarily suspended. During the parade, traffic will be stopped from Nemuno St. 70 towards Taikos Ave., A. Jakšto, Smėlynė and Elektros St.
Residents and city guests are invited to take into account the temporary traffic and public transport changes in advance and plan extra time for travel. We apologize for the temporary inconvenience.
