It was this latter fact that confused Ąžuolas Misiukevičius – on his Facebook account, he shared a video in which he stated that he did not understand the behavior of the teenagers who witnessed such an attack.
„I don’t even know how or where to start, and how to arrange my thoughts, but I will try. You must have seen this situation where a girl was being harmed in front of teenagers. This is incomprehensible to me and I feel immense sympathy.
You know, what’s the one thing I don’t understand? I am most ashamed of those guys who filmed, who saw everything and none of them managed to help. None of them managed to approach. So, is this masculinity? Is this the future of Lithuanian men? It seems to me that these are simply cowards.

I will say that this is not masculinity at all, but simply cowardice, and I wish you not to build muscles and cultivate how tough you are, but I wish you to have more empathy, courage to be able to help and extend a helping hand, because I am simply ashamed,” Ą.Misiukevičius said.
And next to the video, he also wrote:
„The event, which many saw, shocked not only me, but, I think, all of Lithuania. I feel very sorry for the girl…
But most of all, I cannot understand one thing – those guys who stood by, filmed, and did nothing. Is this your masculinity? Is there enough courage only to pull out a phone, but not to help a person who most needed help at that moment? To me, that’s not masculinity, but cowardice. I wish you to cultivate not muscles or “toughness”, but inner courage, determination, and humanity.”
