The head of the company “Russian Air Transport Laboratory,” Andrey Cherezov, was on his way home from work around 1 a.m. (local and Lithuanian time) when he was attacked by an unknown assailant, reported the Russian newspaper “Izvestia.”

Prosecutors have launched an investigation into the attempted murder. They have not provided any information about A. Cherezov’s condition.
The shooting took place in the city of Tula, about 150 kilometers south of Moscow.
