“Peace must become closer. Of course, on behalf of all Ukraine, we will honor the memory of Lindsey Graham and together with everyone at a ceremony in Washington remember his efforts to achieve security and freedom in the Euro-Atlantic area and other regions of the world,” he noted.

As indicated by the special correspondent of the Ukrainian broadcaster “Suspilne,” the visit according to the program will begin at the White House. At 9 a.m. local time, V. Zelensky will meet with D. Trump in the Oval Office. The negotiations will be held behind closed doors – without media representatives. The meeting will last no longer than two hours, as at 11 a.m. in the same Oval Office, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is expected.
V. Zelensky’s last visit to Washington last October ended without the expected results. Before that, in February 2025, the meeting between the Ukrainian president and D. Trump in the Oval Office turned into a political disaster after the American president and J.D. Vance publicly attacked V. Zelensky.
