Lithuania supports Ukraine – it is important to us that after the war there will be not a temporary pause, but a safe and just future for Ukraine and all of Europe,” said the Prime Minister at a meeting ahead of the upcoming Independence Day of Ukraine.

As reported by the Government Chancellery, M. Sinkevičius emphasized at the meeting that as Russia continues its aggression, the international community must increase pressure on Moscow and Minsk. Lithuania supports stricter sanctions, their enforcement control, and joint efforts to prevent sanctions evasion, including the activities of the “shadow fleet.”
