“We discussed preparations for the IMF Executive Board meeting regarding the first review of Ukraine’s extended financing program, which, as confirmed by the Fund, will take place on July 20,” wrote S. Koreckis.
He noted that the Fund’s approval of the first review should ensure another $690 million in international aid for Ukraine.

“I thanked the IMF for its consistent support of Ukraine. The Fund continues to play a key role in coordinating international financial assistance to our country. We also agreed to coordinate further actions to ensure the financing of Ukraine’s state budget for 2027,” added S. Koreckis.
