The ministry announces a tender for a joint air threat detection system, will allocate 5 million euros

Minister of National Defence Robertas Kaunas says that the system being created with the help of artificial intelligence will connect data from military and other institutions’ sensors and radars in real time, helping to more accurately identify drones and timely warn the public.

“At the national level, one system will strengthen the state’s institutions’ early warning and response to emerging air threats (…). At the same time, this state order strengthens Lithuanian business competencies in the field of air defense,” he said.
