The Lithuanian ATV and motorcycle with trailers championship thundered in Biržai

65 athletes gathered for the competition, competing in various classes of quads and motorcycles with sidecars.

Although the rain did not reach the Biržai track this time, the organizers had to take additional measures and water the track. As a result, in some races, athletes had to face a slippery and technically challenging surface, requiring not only speed but also precise motorcycle and quad control.

The performances of Lithuanian athletes were also pleasing – more Lithuanians stood on the podium in this stage than in the first stage of the season.

Winners in the youngest class are Lithuanians

In the “Quad 100” class, the winner was Hugas Krasauskas. The young athlete did not hide after the finish that it was not easy, but the Biržai track left a great impression on him. Arnas Jasinauskas and Aironas Vaškelis scored the same number of points in the stage, but A. Jasinauskas took the higher place on the podium due to a better result in the second race.

Quad results

In the “Quad B” class, Modestas Navickas celebrated victory. The athlete emphasized after the finish that this time the equipment worked flawlessly and did not prevent achieving the set goals. The second place was taken by the winner of the previous stage, Rytis Patapovas, and the third by Martynas Juodenis.

Evaldas Gedaminskas continues to dominate in the “Quad C” class. This victory was special for him – it was won on the track of his native Biržai district motocross club “Agaras”.

Representatives of all Baltic countries on the podiums

The “Quad 250” class had an international flavor. Among the prize-winners were athletes from all three Baltic states. The victory was won by Estonian Egert Sutt, Latvian Markuss Ignatjevs finished second, and Lithuanian Arnas Tumėnas was third.

In one of the strongest classes – “Quad” – the first race was won by Estonian Rasmus Sõna, who regularly participates in international competitions. However, in the second race, the athlete was slowed down by malfunctions and finished only fifth.

Laurynas Mikalauskas took advantage of this and won the overall stage victory.

“I jumped out second from the start, first was my friend from Estonia Rasmus, but our levels differ equally, so he pulled away strongly. I rode safely and still had strength at the end, so I could try to make sure no one overtook me. A good start is half the work done,” said L. Mikalauskas, who won the “Quad” class standings.

Interestingly, Latvian Reinis Bicāns scored the same number of points as the winner but finished second in the final standings.

A bad start did not prevent victory

There were dramatic moments in the “4×4 Quad 700+” class. At the start of the second race, Daividas Rudokas had to urgently catch up with opponents because his motorcycle did not start.

“It is very difficult to overtake others on the ramps – I was afraid of jumping on another competitor, so I had to find gaps. But later the athletes spread out and I caught up with the leaders,” shared the winner of the “4×4 Quad 700+” class, Daividas Rudokas.

Despite the difficulties, he took first place. Paulius Ruškys was second, and Romualdas Gaubas third.

Latvian crew triumph in the motorcycles with sidecars class
Latvian athletes dominated again in the “750 s/p” class. Jānis Jegorovs and Peteris Jegorovs won both races and confidently took the title of stage winners. Second place went to Richards Rupeiks and Markuss Tučis, about 15 seconds behind the leaders. Jonas Pirtinas and sidecar passenger Lotārs Aleksejevs finished third in the stage, scoring 38 points.

Equally confidently, Algimantas Spundzevičius and Domantas Spundzevičius performed in the “750 s/p B” class. They scored the maximum – 50 points – and left no chance to competitors. Second were Darius Sabockis and Gustas Dzeveltauskas, third – Paulius Šereikia and Julius Šereika.

After intense battles in Biržai, the championship participants will have almost a three-month break. The next stage of the “2026 CFMOTO Lithuanian Quads and Motorcycles with Sidecars Cross Championship” will take place on August 29 at the Kalvarija motocross track, where athletes will continue to fight for the most important season points and championship titles.
