“With sadness, we announce that JURGIS ZELIANKA (1997.09.03–2026.09.10) has passed away to eternal rest.

The farewell with Jurgis will take place at the Funeral Services Center Pilaitė branch, Tolminkiemio St. 4, Vilnius, in hall 1:
• September 12, Saturday, 16:00–20:30;
• September 13, Sunday, 8:30–14:30.
Mass for Jurgis’s soul will be held at St. Joseph’s Church on September 13, Sunday, at 8:30. We invite you to pray together.
He will be buried at Karveliškės Cemetery.

Your life has ended, but our love for you will never fade,” the announcement reads.
We remind that the infinitely painful loss was announced by V. Zelianka on the social network “Facebook,” and he agreed to share the post with the news portal Žmonės.lt.
In saying goodbye to his son who left too soon, the well-known lawyer dedicated the warmest words to him.
The father sensitively emphasized that despite all the life difficulties encountered along the way, Jurgis was an extremely talented, bright, and exceptionally intelligent man.
“Our Jurgelis has died.
Our firstborn son, our little brother, and grandson.
Just a few days ago we celebrated his 29th birthday.
And yesterday I went into his room and found him sleeping in his bed.
Although from infancy he did not want to, and as it later turned out – could not sleep.
God gifted him with a mind of unseen power. And as compensation took his health and peace of mind.
He could not fit in anywhere.
He so wanted to be accepted and loved.
He tried to overcome his problems as best he could.
For that, he paid with addictions.
Which took him away from us.
Let us love our children.
As they are.
After all, they are already a gift to us.
Even if it is a cross.
It is very hard for me as a father, and for our whole family.
Thank you to all friends, you are so good.
I love you, Jurgelis.
We all love you very much.
It’s a pity we don’t always know how to show it.
