Already on Wednesday evening, relatives and friends gathered for an extraordinary meeting on the water in three different places in Lithuania. During it, members of the extreme sports community, honoring Motiejus’s memory, gathered together on wakeboards, gliding on the water and performing tricks.
Motiejus’s memory was also honored with a moment of silence at the “Wake way” wakeboarding park, where he spent much of his time.

At this gathering, Motiejus’s mother was also seen, who symbolically accompanied her son to eternal rest by releasing a wreath woven in his honor into the water, which had previously been hung on his wakeboard.

He was an active member of the sports community
On Sunday, news spread that a young man drowned in the Baltic Sea in Nida in the afternoon, and it later became clear that he was M. Lisauskas, the 2017 “Red Bull Risk and Slysk” skiing competition champion, wakeboarding and snowboarding coach.
Some time ago, Motiejus founded the “7AM Club” sports community and was also an active member of other athlete initiatives.
