Creating a fake “Facebook” profile, store account, or service page today is not difficult, and their appearance can be very similar to real business or personal accounts. Sometimes even a professional logo, beautiful photos, and many followers do not necessarily mean that a reliable seller is behind the account.

Particularly vigilant should be when pressured to make a decision quickly: “last unit,” “offer valid only today,” “transfer the advance now,” or “the link is valid only for a few minutes.” The scammer’s goal is often not only to get money but also to steal bank card details, login credentials, or other information.
