14 people were killed in the Russian attack, and more than 120 people were injured, including 22 children. The condition of 29 people, including five children, is serious, the regional military administration reported.

Rescuers help bleeding injured
Videos circulated on social media show rescuers helping bleeding injured people near the shopping center.
Several videos capture how, minutes after the first strike, a second drone, suspected to be, crashes into the roof of the smoking building.
Kryvyi Rih, the hometown of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, has suffered Russian attacks multiple times throughout the war.
The industrial city is about 60 km from the front line.
In recent months, Russia has intensified the bombing of Ukrainian cities, and the United Nations reports that civilian casualties in 2026 have risen to the highest level since the early months of the war.

Earlier, the head of the city defense council, Oleksandr Vilkul, reported that the Russians attacked the largest shopping center in Kryvyi Rih with a strike drone.
“A fire broke out, many victims are visible. An emergency rescue operation has begun,” he noted.
The chairman of the Dnipropetrovsk regional council, Mykola Lukashuk, clarified that the attacked shopping center is in the very center of the city.
“In broad daylight. In a place always full of people. Where families are. Where children are. This is deliberate terror against peaceful residents,” he stated.
According to O. Hanzha, people were injured during the strike. The shopping center was damaged, and a fire broke out.
