According to him, during the visit, military units and subdivisions performing combat tasks in the hottest front sectors of the Southern operational zone were visited.

“The enemy continues to increase its efforts. In the Oleksandrivka direction alone, the Russian grouping consists of more than 71 thousand soldiers. Approximately the same number of soldiers are concentrated in the Huliaipole and Orikhiv directions. The situation remains dynamic – both Russian and Ukrainian defense forces are actively conducting combat operations,” O.Syrskyi said.
O.Syrskyi also supported the commanders’ proposals for more active actions in certain front sectors and decided to additionally supply units with equipment and ammunition.

“I separately emphasized that the most important priority in conducting combat operations remains the preservation of the lives of Ukrainian soldiers,” he noted.
