“Data from 2025 shows that legal alcohol consumption has reached its lowest level in the past decade,” said Natalija Ravinskienė, head of the Demographic and Social Statistics Department, at a press conference on Friday.

“Per capita consumption was 8.7 liters of pure alcohol, and for those aged 15 and over – 10.2 liters. Compared to 2024, consumption has decreased slightly, and the overall trend since 2016 remains steadily declining,” she added.
