1.09 billion euros were collected from excise duties – 8.8% more than last year. Most additional revenue came from energy products. The growth in excise revenue was also supported by the excise duty introduced this year on sweetened non-alcoholic beverages.

1.12 billion euros were received from profit tax – 5.1% more than last year due to higher advance profit tax payments, which were influenced by the increased profit tax rate this year (from 16 to 17%). However, in June, when the annual profit tax payment deadline for 2025 arrived, almost the same amount of revenue was received as last year. Revenue growth was limited by the slowed growth of taxable profit for 2025 and a larger portion of the annual advance payment for 2025 compared to previous periods.
