This year, familiar faces to the “Silver Crane” community greet the audience and film community from the stage – Rytis Zemkauskas and Eglė Kernagytė-Dambrauskė.

The duo appears as hosts at the event for the second time. The brightest Lithuanian music stars also took the stage during the ceremony. Special performances with the Plungė Cultural Center Symphony Orchestra (conductor Paulius Lygnugaris) were given by the group “SHWR” and singer Giedrė.
The audience also saw a performance by “Los Secretos de Pablo” together with Monika Liu and other touching musical surprises. Television show host Audra Avižiūtė welcomed guests on the red carpet.

As many as 19 “Silver Crane” statuettes and the “Golden Crane” for lifetime achievement, as well as the “Silver Crane Egg” for the best student work of the year, will be awarded to the best filmmakers of this year. A special award for the promotion of film culture is also expected.
The best of the year were chosen in May by the film community – representatives of the film industry associations and former “Silver Crane” laureates who submitted their candidacies.
Among the awards is also a special Audience Choice Film nomination. Its winner will be revealed by counting which film attracted the most viewers to cinemas.
