Although there was a ban, during the live broadcast it was visible that J.Gruer was taking photos with a phone inside the room. The publications VG and Nettavisen investigated the situation and published screenshots from the live broadcast showing J.Gruer using a phone.
Later, J.Gruer commented to VG that she had already deleted the photos.
“I only found out about the photography ban afterwards, I did not know about it in advance,” the politician explained her action to the newspaper.
According to Nettavisen, two large signs prohibiting photography were hanging in the place, and the ban is also clearly stated on the royal palace’s website. One member of parliament told the publication that the ban was “impossible to miss.”

J.Gruer says she regrets her behavior.
“Of course, I should not have acted that way, and I apologize. It is important for me to respect the situation, and if I could, I would turn back time,” the politician commented.
Žmonės.lt reminds that King Harald V died on August 28 at Oslo University Hospital at the age of 89. Harald’s coffin was laid in state in the palace chapel on September 1 and will remain there for a week. The funeral will take place on September 9 at Oslo Cathedral.
The funeral will begin with a private ceremony in the palace chapel, where relatives will say goodbye to the king. Later, his coffin, accompanied by a large procession, will be taken to Oslo Cathedral, where the main service will be held.
