Traces of gamma-hydroxybutyric acid (GHB), known as a party drug, and the sedative drug “Xanax” were also found.
The prince’s blood had an alcohol concentration of 0.222% (the permissible limit for drivers in the United Kingdom is 0.08%).
On November 25 last year, the prince was found by a maid in the bathroom of the luxurious “Marriott” hotel, located in London’s Kensington district. The price for one night’s stay at this hotel is about 800 US dollars.

Medics who arrived at the scene of the accident tried to resuscitate the man, but unsuccessfully – his death was pronounced on the spot.
It also emerged in court that three months before his death, the prince was treated at a private addiction clinic “Priory” in Roehampton. A week of treatment at this facility can cost up to 47 thousand US dollars.
Psychiatrist Victoria Chamorro stated in a statement submitted to the court that the patient actively participated in the detoxification program, and the treatment itself proceeded without any physical complications.
According to the doctor, the prince was treated for addiction to alcohol, benzodiazepines, and anxiolytic drugs (pregabalin).
“He was friendly, supported other patients, and easily made acquaintances,” the doctor said.
She also noted that upon arrival at the clinic, the prince was in a depressed mood and felt anxious.
“Upon discharge, it was assessed that there was no suicide risk. He left with a friend, although he later did not join the planned remote consultations. However, this did not cause greater concern, as he successfully completed the treatment program,” the psychiatrist’s statement reads.

After treatment at the “Priory” clinic, the prince moved to another addiction treatment center – the “Rainford Hall” clinic in St Helens (Merseyside), where treatment costs about 9.2 thousand US dollars. It is stated that the prince’s condition improved there, and he was discharged on October 14.
Forensic examination confirmed that the cause of death was cardiac arrest. No acute or chronic diseases were found in the deceased.
The prince was last seen alive by hotel surveillance cameras when he went outside for a smoke. British officials believe it was not a suicide – the man did not intend to take his own life.
After the prince’s death, the Saudi Arabian Royal Court issued an official statement:
“His Royal Highness Prince Abdullah bin Fahad bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Musaed bin Jalawi Al Saud, while outside the Kingdom, has passed away to the Almighty. The funeral prayer will be offered today, Tuesday, after the Asr prayer at Imam Turki bin Abdullah Mosque in Riyadh.
May Allah reward him with His mercy, forgive him, and admit him to His Paradise. We belong to Allah, and to Him we shall return.”
