Today, the group “Lietuvaitės” presents a hot new release – the song “I Need Love,” with dreamy lyrics written by singer, journalist, TV show host, producer, and lyricist Rūta Lukoševičiūtė-Daudienė.

To the portal Žmonės.lt, Rūta said that this “Lietuvaitės” song is the best birthday gift for her. R. Lukoševičiūtė-Daudienė turned 51 on August 20.
“For me personally, this news is the best birthday gift because I wrote the lyrics for this song, and the piece truly touches the heart,” she smiled.
“Upon hearing the song, I told our producer Karolis – this has to be a hit, we hope our listeners will feel the same,” Sonata reflected. The group’s producer Karolis Šliažas immediately decided to create a video for this song, but wanted something real, close to both the listeners and the performers themselves. It turned out that the girls do not hide their endless passion for gardening on their personal social media accounts: “Justina and I are nature lovers, we walk barefoot on the dewy grass in the mornings, call each other and, with cameras on, show each other our grown crops. I have raised beds, Justina built a greenhouse this year and hardly leaves it,” Sonata joked. This hobby inspired Karolis to choose this theme for the video clip: moreover, not everyone knows what Sonata and Justina look like and what they like to do most when the bright stage lights go out… But where to film the video? Is there a suitable place in Lithuania? It turns out there is a village called Svetlica in Suvalkija, which is constantly visited by various performers: everyone is drawn to its special homestead, where it is not only good to escape the noise of summer concerts but, as it turned out, it is a great location for filming music videos!
“There live the most wonderful people – Gražina and Antanas Bučinskai, who welcome everyone with open arms, cherish their beautiful homestead, and nearby is my mother’s homeland, so this place is especially close and dear to me, this is where I grew up,” Justina spoke emotionally. The group “Bernužėliai” also filmed their hit “Let It Shine” video there: “At that time, we managed to create a very cozy video: I even ‘lent’ my relatives to the ‘Bernužėliai’ colleagues for filming,” Justina laughed cheerfully.

The group’s producer Karolis Šliažas was impressed by both the homestead and Gražina’s well-kept greenhouse: the place perfectly matched Karolis’s vision. “Our producer Karolis is very creative – he saw potential in every farm building, we chose props for the video impromptu, from what we found in the yard and greenhouse. In the latter, Justina and I ate half of Gražina’s tomatoes even before filming the video,” Sonata giggled.
The girls are happy with the achieved result, and for Justina, it evokes special sentiments: “Filming was very fun and cozy because my relatives and best friend Kristina were behind the scenes. During the video shoot, we dug potatoes, from which Kristina made pancakes for us, and they were so delicious that we decided to immortalize that too. I hope you won’t watch the video hungry because you’ll definitely crave potato pancakes,” Justina joked.
