They do not execute justice and do not act in the name of the law. They carry out political orders and act in the name of their own interests, rewards, and careers. Only those who have not encountered them can talk about respect or a sense of justice,” the mayor wrote on the social network “Facebook” after the Court of Appeal announced its decision.

The Court of Appeal on Monday upheld the Kaunas District Court verdict against the mayor of Druskininkai, according to which he was fined 60 thousand euros last year in the former judges’ corruption case.
