Two people, including a four-year-old child, were killed in an aviation strike in the city of Zavaida, the civil defense rescue service controlled by the Hamas group reported.
“Two martyrs and several injured were taken to the Al Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah,” located in the central Gaza Strip, civil defense told the AFP news agency.
One person was killed in another Israeli strike on the Nuseirat refugee camp.
The Israeli military told AFP that one of the strikes “targeted a terrorist” and said it would provide more details later.
The ceasefire that came into effect in October reduced violence in the Gaza Strip but did not stop it.
According to the Gaza Strip Ministry of Health controlled by Hamas, whose data the United Nations considers reliable, 1,286 people have died in Israeli operations since the ceasefire began.
The Israeli military reported that during the same period, five of its soldiers and one civilian contractor were killed.
