As the news portal “Agentstvo” writes, V. Solovyov began his television show with a monologue about Russia’s war in Ukraine and Kyiv’s retaliatory actions.

Speaking about how, in his opinion, the war has changed, the propagandist stated that Ukraine allegedly will not limit itself to strikes on the oil and gas industry and logistics infrastructure.
“It is clear that the closer winter gets, the more intense the attacks on energy infrastructure will become,” emphasized V. Solovyov.
According to him, it is necessary to take “preventive measures,” and one of the most effective, according to the propagandist, is to “push the enemy as far back as possible.”
After that, V. Solovyov stated that currently there is a “very difficult situation” in the city of Enerhodar in the occupied part of Zaporizhzhia region “and generally along the entire front line.”
“Since the ‘kill zone’ has expanded to 40 kilometers, it is impossible for civilians to be there,” he said bluntly.
According to the propagandist, we are talking about 200–400 thousand people living in Russia’s Kursk and Bryansk regions, as well as in the occupied territories of Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions.

“They de facto live near the front line. <…> What prevents taking people, giving them the opportunity to come and live normally in a new place? The Far East, the Urals, the Volga region. Distribute them across the country? We do not abandon our own. When the front line retreats, we will rebuild, people will return to their homes,” suggested V. Solovyov.
According to him, instead “we refuse the workforce” and “watch how people live in the hardest conditions.”
According to the propagandist, a state program for relocating people should be implemented: “Especially since we currently have many new buildings. What prevents the state from buying out housing there and providing it, and people will work.”
The upcoming stage of Russia’s war with Ukraine will be similar to the so-called “urban warfare” of the 1980s Iran-Iraq war, a military source in Moscow told “The New Yorker” magazine.
This refers to a series of indiscriminate air strikes carried out by both sides during the Iran-Iraq war from 1980 to 1988, when the front line reached a stalemate. The publication acknowledged that for Ukraine, more than four years after the large-scale Russian invasion, this does not seem like a new prospect.
“They have gotten used to it. And we are facing it for the first time,” he said, referring to Russia.
