Polling stations in Sochi closed due to drone threat as elections begin in Russia

“Thorough security measures have been taken at the polling stations in Sochi,” said the city mayor Andrey Propushin. “Members of the election commissions, observers, and voters at the polling stations have been moved to shelters until the ‘drone attack’ threat is lifted.”
