This is the second time in a day that Polish forces have warned residents of these two voivodeships. During the past night’s Russian military attack on Ukraine due to two drones flying towards the Polish border, some residents of the Lublin and Subcarpathian regions also received warnings, and the military scrambled fighter jets.
Due to the situation, flights at Rzeszów and Lublin airports were also temporarily suspended.
The danger signal was canceled after 8 a.m. by another RCB announcement when the Russian attacks ceased.
