An episode of the tv3.lt show “Let’s Talk” spread on the “TikTok” platform, in which Simona openly analyzed the dynamics of their relationship and the internal breaks that occurred.

In the show, S. Lipnė did not hide that over the many years of living together, she herself changed significantly, and this transformation became a real challenge for her husband.
“I developed a feeling that I must take care of myself, and it is very difficult for my husband to accept that. Imagine, you live with a person who does everything for you all the time: is your friend, mother, sister – all in one. She would do anything, but suddenly… she starts caring only about herself. That is hard,” the businesswoman said then about the changed priorities.

“Attempts to separate but not divorce”
Simona emphasized that there were never only sunny days in their family. According to her, when a couple is united not only by shared household and three children but also by a joint business, friction becomes inevitable.
“We also try to separate but not divorce. There are all kinds of stages, and that is normal. There are really very difficult moments because we are working people, raising three children together. I have changed a lot since the beginning of our relationship,” the woman admitted.
The battle of two strong characters
The businesswoman also looked self-critically at her way, admitting that living with a perfectionist who seeks total control is not an easy task for any man.
“I said: you knew it wouldn’t be easy with me, that’s how I am. There were many different thoughts. Maybe I am too much of a perfectionist and a nitpicker – everything has to be the way I want. I don’t like it when things are not according to me. But he is not a silent person who accepts everything. We have had all kinds of stages,” S. Lipnė said.
We remind you that talks about the couple’s divorce had been circulating for some time. However, neither Simona nor Mindaugas wanted to open up about it until now.
Still, on the evening of Sunday, July 12, S. Lipnė broke the silence. The woman posted a letter about the divorce on her Instagram account.
“I have been silent for a long time. But I feel the time has come.
This post is not to stir up discussions or look for blame. I just no longer want assumptions and guesses. It just happened. This is a part of my life that I am now going through. I do not blame, I respect and let go. And what I share is only what is happening inside me.
I also sincerely ask to respect my and my children’s privacy,” S. Lipnė began the post.
Simona agreed to share the letter also with the readers of the Žmonės.lt portal.
“I have been silent for a long time. Not because I had nothing to say. But because when a family falls apart, you first try to save it, not talk about it or seek comfort. But it just happens, and you cannot hide it.
Understand, no one creates a family to leave it one day. To let it fall apart. To let go of what you dreamed of, raised, nurtured, and tried to preserve at any cost…
Likewise, no one dreams of two homes for their children. Nor of holidays according to a schedule and sharing weeks. Of moments you will never get back because you simply will not always be there when you want to be constantly…
So when a woman decides to leave, it is usually not a one-day decision. It is usually what has been happening for years. But the courage was missing. The courage for change.
It is a decision born after so much… After hope that it will be better. After hundreds of attempts to communicate. After psychologists, silent retreats, books, correspondence, letters, despair… After unheard requests. After disappointments, tears, and silently carried pain that no one saw.

For some reason, people usually only see and want to see the divorce. Only the fact itself. But they do not understand that divorce is the consequence of what was…
They do not see all the years before it. They do not see how many times the choice was made to stay for the children. For the family. For the hope that tomorrow will be different. That simply… This will pass and it will be better…
Divorce was never my plan. Nor probably any woman who once lovingly created her family and believed it would last a lifetime.
Sometimes the greatest love for children is not a marriage preserved at any cost. Sometimes we just have to choose to be apart to be better for them – our children.
Sometimes the greatest love is to raise them in a home with more peace than fear, more respect than silence… And more love than pain. Because children deserve not a perfect family picture. They deserve parents who can be emotionally healthy, loving, and genuine. But we failed to be such…
Divorce is not a victory. It is not a defeat either. Often it is the last resort when all others have been tried… And in our case, maybe even tried too hard to save it because it had long ceased to be what I wanted.
So today I have only one request – before judging, let’s remember that we never know how much pain a person silently carried until finally making one of the hardest decisions of their life. One they did not dream of, plan, and most of all did not want.
Another thing – children. Who are the most painful, sensitive point in this situation. For whom it is hard for me to find words.. They are the most sacred, purest, and dearest thing to me. So I want to protect them. Please respect them. Little innocent angels.
Sometimes leaving is not weakness. Sometimes it is the greatest courage. The courage to accept change. The courage to endure pain. The courage to start life anew. Because healing always takes time.
This post is not about finding the guilty. It is about understanding that behind every divorce lies a story that usually no one sees. It is very easy to judge a person when you only see the end. Much harder to understand the whole path to it.
Today I am deeply hurt. But I know one thing – even when it seems that there is no strength left, I still get up. Like the day my three children were born at once. Sometimes it seemed hard, but I got up for them and always did everything for them.
So it is now. Only this time much harder. Sometimes it feels like I live on autopilot – I get up, go, do, and fight. For peace. For safety. For freedom. For happiness. For myself and my children.
I believe that after every storm comes calm. I believe that one day all this will hurt less. Until then, I choose simply to move forward… one day at a time, step by step.
I don’t know what tomorrow will bring. But I know one thing – I will always choose what ultimately brings more love, peace, and light to my children and me,” S. Lipnė wrote.
The couple became famous back in 2017 when they had triplets. Simona and Mindaugas got married in 2019.
