On Monday – news for drivers about increased fuel prices

In Lithuania, average gasoline and diesel prices increased on Monday morning, while the average LPG price decreased by 0.18%, 0.19%, and 0.20% respectively. Retail prices are influenced by wholesale fuel prices and oil prices. Information about fuel prices was provided to the Lithuanian Energy Agency (LEA) on September 7 by 76 fuel trading companies operating 754 gas stations.

Data on fuel prices obtained from gas stations by 10 a.m. on September 7 show that the lowest diesel price was at four “Baltic Petroleum” network gas stations and two “Alauša” network gas stations – 1.999 Eur/l.

The highest diesel price was at seventeen “Viada” network gas stations, seven “Circle K” network gas stations, and a “Boost Petrol” network gas station in Kelmė district municipality – 2.299 Eur/l.

Diesel prices at gas stations on Monday morning ranged from 1.999 Eur/l to 2.299 Eur/l, with the average diesel price reaching 2.116 Eur/l, or 0.19% higher than on Friday (September 4), when it was 2.112 Eur/l.

The lowest gasoline price on Monday morning was at an “Eniris” network gas station in Vilnius district municipality – 1.739 Eur/l.

The highest gasoline price was at a “Plungės lagūna” network gas station in Rietavas municipality – 2.017 Eur/l.

Gasoline prices at gas stations on Monday morning ranged from 1.739 Eur/l to 2.017 Eur/l, with the average gasoline price at 1.872 Eur/l, or 0.18% higher than on Friday (September 4), when it was 1.869 Eur/l.

The lowest LPG price on Monday morning was at a “Bonsa” network gas station in Tauragė district municipality – 0.680 Eur/l.

The highest LPG price was at three “Viada” network gas stations and two “Circle K” network gas stations – 0.949 Eur/l.

LPG prices at gas stations on Monday morning ranged from 0.680 Eur/l to 0.949 Eur/l, with the average LPG price at 0.789 Eur/l, or 0.20% less than on Friday (September 4), when it was 0.790 Eur/l.

The wholesale gasoline price in Lithuania on September 4 was 1.82 Eur/l, and the wholesale diesel price was 2.05 Eur/l (on September 3, the wholesale gasoline price was 1.80 Eur/l, and the wholesale diesel price was 2.05 Eur/l).

The Brent oil price on the market on September 4 was 96.28 USD/bbl (September 3 – 95.52 USD/bbl).
