“The ship’s safety officer reported that an unknown projectile hit the tanker, causing a fire on the main deck. All crew members are safe and accounted for, and no environmental impact has been reported,” stated the UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO).
The incident occurred 63 nautical miles west of the Saudi Arabian city of Yanbu, the agency reported.
