Although just before the exhibition opening J.Depp performed nearby in Cologne with the band “Hollywood Vampires” and many spectators hoped to see him at Benrath Palace, the actor did not appear at the exhibition.
The chairman of the board of the Benrath Palace and Park Foundation, Stefan Schweizer, told the newspaper “Neue Ruhr Zeitung” (NRZ) that the actor visited the museum “before the Friday concert and viewed the exhibition in a small group”.
The museum’s press release states that J.Depp has been engaged in artistic creation since childhood, but for a long time, until 2022, he did not show his works to the general public.

In March 2026, a small exhibition of his 13 paintings and graphic works was held in the small town of Emmendingen in southwestern Germany – the first in German-speaking countries. At that time, some works were sold out a few days before the official opening of the exhibition, so the organizers had to order additional works.
