The meeting is expected to take place when V. Zelensky travels to the United States to attend the funeral of the late US Senator Lindsey Graham.
L. Graham’s funeral will be held at Washington National Cathedral on July 28. A strong ally of both Ukraine and D. Trump, L. Graham unexpectedly died on July 11, after returning from a trip to Kyiv and announcing that he had reached an agreement with the White House on a long-delayed bill on sanctions against Russia.
