„The principle itself is that we as a society must be maximally prepared. And the universal conscription is about that. Only we must very clearly define expectations, goals, and the possible achievable result based on the available, developing infrastructure, according to our military capabilities, how many instructors we have, how well we can train our citizens,“ the minister told journalists on Thursday.
„Because setting a date and saying that there will now be a universal conscription and just calling everyone together, but not properly preparing them, is probably not our goal. Our goal is quality,“ he added.
