Mindaugas admits that he himself is afraid of his emotions, which this conversation can provoke. Everything is still too fresh, too close.

“I used to go to the cemetery every day all year round. Sometimes even twice a day… I was, I won’t be afraid of the word, on the verge of madness. People would walk by, and I would talk alone sitting down, and I didn’t care what they thought. I feel like someone ripped half of my heart out and said – live now and bleed.
That’s how these years were. You are dead, but you live. I was in such a state that I was looking for a straw. If someone had told me – go to witches, they will help you, I would have gone. I tried everything. I mean, I was afraid that irreversible processes would happen. And I would end up in a certain institution where I would no longer be able to return to a normal life,” – the well-known music producer begins the conversation on the show “Everyday Heroes.”
“I won’t exaggerate by saying that we were Siamese twins, we had a deep and special connection,” says the interlocutor.
30 years working side by side, all holidays, leisure time, the same fishing. Mindaugas does not hide – he and Gintaras were always together since childhood.

“It was the last day when everyone had already decided not to sail anymore. But Gintaras says – no, we still have to sail for at least two hours. Although the last day of fishing is often meant for tidying up. Probably, it was fate,” says the man from Klaipėda.
Gintaras died at just 53. Mindaugas does not hide – his brother enjoyed life to the fullest, had a dream job, many loved ones, and hobbies.
And now Gintaras’s boat still remains at the bottom in Norway.
“I hired a law firm. I somehow wanted there to be someone to blame,” he admits.
This year Mindaugas embarked on the hardest journey of his life. He went to Norway. Rented a boat and sailed to the place where his brother died.
