“The zone of the most powerful clouds may start to form not where expected, or it may shift south, in which case we would avoid stronger storms. We will continue to monitor the situation and update according to the latest data,” Meteo LT announces on Facebook.
Meteorologists recommend residents to close windows and doors, collect easily movable objects outside, avoid parking cars near tall trees, and during thunderstorms avoid open areas, bodies of water, trees, power lines, and other tall metal structures. Drivers are urged to be especially careful and choose speed according to traffic and weather conditions.
