Lufthansa reported that several employees were injured in the incident. However, passengers had not yet boarded the plane bound for Los Angeles.

“Several employees were injured and are currently receiving medical attention,” Lufthansa said in a statement.
The airline stated that the incident involving the Boeing aircraft occurred on Thursday shortly after noon, and authorities are investigating its circumstances.

Only Lufthansa crew members and ground service personnel were on board the aircraft.
