“We send much love and gratitude as we say goodbye to Indrė Baltušė, the long-time creator and former head of the Public Relations and Marketing Communications program at the Lithuanian Journalism Center, who passed away too soon.

Indrė advised many of today’s widely known brands in Lithuania on strategic identity and marketing communications, founded the branding agency “Imagine,” and always considered it her mission to share accumulated knowledge, discoveries, success and failure stories, spreading them while nurturing equal colleagues and a new professional generation in the communications sector. Hundreds of our study participants were fortunate that she chose the Lithuanian Journalism Center as the main platform to share her knowledge.

Indrė Baltušė collaborated with the Lithuanian Journalism Center for more than ten years – since 2014 – and to this day, the foundation of the Public Relations and Marketing Communications program consists of the best professionals in their fields, brought together thanks to Indrė’s connections and acquaintances.

Indrė Baltušė was a wonderful lecturer and mentor, talented and professional, a reliable colleague and partner. It was a privilege to know her. We will miss her at the Lithuanian Journalism Center, especially those closest to her – her husband and their four children. When so many people are touched, those who have passed live on even when they are no longer physically with us. Indrė Baltušė accomplished so much and spread so much love and light that she will remain with us for a very long time. Condolences to the family,” the center’s Facebook page states.
