After the first quarter, Serbia led slightly (18:12), but the opponents won the second quarter 32:9 and led 50:21 after two quarters.
In the second half of the game, the Lithuanian team closed the gap and won the third quarter 22:13.
In the fourth quarter, the Lithuanians tried to reduce the difference even more, but the lead built by the Serbs in the second quarter was too big, and the Lithuanians suffered their first defeat in the European Championship.
