Stanulevičius had a TikTok blog with nearly 9,000 followers, as well as Facebook and Instagram pages.
There he mostly wrote about two-day trips on the route Vilnius–Lida–Minsk–Gomel–Khoiniki, visiting the Chernobyl exclusion zone and returning back. The price was 250 euros.
The Lithuanian was detained during a pre-trial investigation. The Minsk city court recently found him guilty under part 1 of article 361-4 of the Belarusian Criminal Code (“assistance to extremist activity”). D. Stanulevičius is currently serving his sentence.
The nature of the charges is unknown, as is usual in political trials in Belarus. The sentence given to the Lithuanian is also not specified.
On August 28, the Belarusian Ministry of Internal Affairs updated the “list of Belarusian citizens, foreign citizens or stateless persons involved in extremist activities.” Another 12 people were added to the list, bringing the total number to 6,836.
